The 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe like all other Chevy’s produced in 1951 had a newly designed grille. The lower two horizontal bars extended to form a circular frame for oblong parking lamps. There were five vertical sectioned bars or teeth beside the parking lamps. Chevrolet was written in script on the upper chrome grille frame molding. All Deluxe models including the 1951 Chevy Fleetline, Bel Air and Convertible had a stainless steel molding starting above the front wheel opening and extending onto the doors.

Chrome rear gravel shields and painted fender skirts were standard equipment on all deluxe models including the Fleetline. In addition stainless windshield reveal moldings and rear window reveal moldings were back once again on the 1951 Chevy coupes and sedans. The moldings outlined the windshield and rear window glass. Another molding followed the top curve of the doors and quarter windows on all 1951 Chevy delux sedans and coupes.
